The M/V “BIG SHIRLEY,” a 1973 28’ Bertram w/ Twin 260 H.P. inboard Crusaders, was reported stolen from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on or about July 24, 2008. The hull is dark blue with a red boot stripe. The cabin is light blue tone white with a dark blue canvas top. The boat’s HIN is BERF09810773. The vessel is USCG Documented under Official Number: 908751. The name “BIG SHIRLEY” is displayed on the transom along with the hailing port “Ft. Lauderdale, FL”. The inboard Crusader motors are fresh water cooled with Model/Serial Numbers: ECR 350 XL L 098387 and ECR 350 XL R 098386. The transmissions are Borg Warner 1017 with serial numbers 7/33744 and 6/33753. The theft was reported to Fort Lauderdale Police Department under Offense Incident Report number 08-90321.
